A crossword is a grid of interlocking Across and Down answers. Each clue points to one numbered entry, and every crossing square must contain the same letter for both answers.

Numbered cells begin an Across answer, a Down answer, or both. Select a square to choose a direction, then type one letter at a time. Arrow keys move through the active entry.
A simple solving order
Fill short answers and obvious clues first, then use their crossing letters to solve harder clues. Check a word when you want feedback, or reveal one word instead of the full grid to keep the challenge useful.
Printing and sharing
A generated seed reproduces the same puzzle, while the Print button removes interactive controls for a clean worksheet.
