Most printable word searches lock you into a fixed theme. This generator starts from your words: paste this week's spelling unit, a set of geometry terms, or the vocabulary from the chapter you just finished. Words are matched up to 16 at a time, and the grid grows automatically so longer words still fit.

Because puzzles are generated from a seed, you can print three different versions of the same word list for neighboring rows - same vocabulary, no copying across desks.

Differentiation in one click

The difficulty switch changes more than grid size. Easy places words only across and down - right for early readers. Medium adds forward diagonals. Hard allows reversed words in all eight directions, which is where even confident students slow down and really read each letter.

A common routine: print the easy version as the introduction activity, then hand out the hard version as a review before the quiz. Same list, two passes, zero extra prep.
